Working closely with employees, contractors, and management, you promote safe working practices, identify and mitigate risks, and contribute to the ongoing development of a strong HSEQ culture. Through your commitment, you help ensure safe, efficient, and reliable operations.
Your key responsibilities will include:
- Support the HSEQ Manager in implementing, maintaining, and improving the HSEQ management system and Integrated Management System (IMS) in line with company and regulatory requirements.
- Conduct safety inspections and regular site visits within terminal facilities and onboard LNG carriers to ensure compliance with HSEQ standards and procedures.
- Identify hazards, unsafe conditions, and non-conformities, and follow up on corrective and preventive actions.
- Assist in preparing and reviewing risk assessments, Job Safety Analyses (JSA), method statements, and Permit-to-Work (PTW) documentation.
- Monitor HSEQ KPIs and maintain records related to incidents, near misses, audits, inspections, and corrective actions.
- Support internal and external HSEQ audits, inspections, and incident investigations, including root cause analysis and follow-up actions.
- Conduct HSEQ inductions, toolbox talks, and safety briefings to promote safety awareness and a strong safety culture.
- Coordinate with contractors to ensure compliance with HSEQ requirements and review relevant safety documentation before work commencement.
- Ensure the availability and proper use of safety equipment and personal protective equipment (PPE).
